Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By registering for and using the Chauffeur Guild of Excellence (CGoE) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CGoE, governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Membership Terms

Full Membership (£199/year): Available upon passing the CGoE Professional Standards Course assessment. Grants full platform access including Member Directory, Jobs Board, Recruitment Portal and all member benefits.

All memberships are annual and must be renewed each year. Full Members must complete annual refresher training to maintain active status. If a Full Membership is not renewed, the member's public profile, directory listing and recruitment presence will be automatically hidden until renewal is completed.

3. Course Access

The CGoE Professional Standards Course is made available to Full Members. Course content, materials and certificates are the intellectual property of CGoE and may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission. You may use course materials solely for your own professional development.

4. Payment Terms

Membership fees are payable annually in advance. All prices are in GBP. CGoE reserves the right to amend pricing with reasonable notice. Payments are processed securely through approved payment providers.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your membership at any time. Refunds will only be provided within 14 days of initial purchase, provided you have not commenced the course. No refund is available for renewal payments once processed. Certificates once issued are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the CGoE platform, including course materials, videos, text, certificates, logos and branding, is the exclusive intellectual property of the Chauffeur Guild of Excellence. Unauthorised use, copying or distribution is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

7. Member Conduct

Members must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, upload false or misleading information, impersonate other individuals, or engage in any conduct that could bring CGoE into disrepute. CGoE reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in breach of these terms.

8. Recruitment Portal

The Recruitment Portal is available to Full Members only. All profiles are subject to admin approval before publication. CGoE does not guarantee employment or work opportunities and acts solely as an intermediary platform. Members are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information.

9. Limitation of Liability

CGoE's liability to you is limited to the membership fee paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim. CGoE is not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from your use of the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes

CGoE reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
